Last night I put a coat on and it covered almost everything but the luan plywood backing still had slight streaks on it. It will be all covered up when I put the paint on. I might go ahead and paint the 2nd piece one coat too and then go over them both with the primer so that the paint "takes" the same. Just know you will have these beautiful bookcases looking perfect soon - but that is a lot of work!
