My husband's family lives in Bayonne NJ, so it is really neat seeing the "soft" side of NJ. Love your parent's place...it is beautiful ~ I can just imagine just how wonderful it is to live there :) Thanks for sharing the pictures!!The Summer Kitchen Girlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14705922236211577732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867999070544032826.post-28813923689059822992012-07-15T17:33:16.992-07:002012-07-15T17:33:16.992-07:00Nan, what a lovely comment you left!! He was making some furniture up until a little while ago when his illness made it so he couldn't build anything. He is about the same but he will be seeing a specialist in NYC on Thursday. Hopefully they can stop the illness he has. My Mom has worked really hard on her gardens over the years and it shows!

Glad these photos made everyone happy! Your parents have a lovely farm! Your Mom's flower garden is magnificent-- that butterfly photo is outstanding!!

I hope you had a wonderful visit and that your Father is feeling better---

VickiVicki Bosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10130335934867523461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867999070544032826.post-49886030663829695432012-07-15T09:38:08.460-07:002012-07-15T09:38:08.460-07:00I came here yesterday, and have thought about it e...I came here yesterday, and have thought about it ever since. It almost makes me cry. It is so very beautiful, and the fact he did all that work himself is a wonder to me. Did he have an outside job then? I know you've shown some stuff he built you. Was that his job - a builder? Anyhow, I just love all these pictures. I would find it very hard to leave there. I'd probably look at my life and try to make it work in a place like that. I hope there are young people who want that kind of life. I fear everybody wants to live in the city now. Thanks so much for posting these, Sherri. I'm going to save the post so I can go look at it occasionally. Do they have to plow that road??Nanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15547916206007733970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867999070544032826.post-12365124165421193322012-07-15T03:15:24.562-07:002012-07-15T03:15:24.562-07:00And why did you leave again?
