I have made a decision to stay off of Facebook. It was taking too much of my time and I was sitting at the computer way too much. I got hooked on playing a game on there called Farmville. I want to read, garden and take walks more so while I will keep the Facebook page, I will not be on there much. Sometimes you just have to make good changes in your life and that was mine. I will keep blogging as much as I have been-I wouldn't give that up! I love blogging and checking in with everyone.
Hope everyone is having a happy Monday!
Sherri, it's so interesting that you'd post about this today. I've been thinking about it lately and I probably won't be staying on FB much longer. I haven't played any of the games but I just don't have much interest in the whole concept anymore. I'd rather read or keep my blog updated. I'm glad you'll continue blogging!!
ReplyDeleteMary-I love blogging and I'd never give that up. The other stuff just isn't important and keeps me away from the things like reading that I really love. I guess we are both on the same page!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Sherri. You can spend so much time on FB, it's addicting. I cut way back too. Besides, blogging is more fun!

I wrote a blog post about this called "Facebook is the Devil!"
ReplyDeleteIt was cutting into my blogging time also.
I'm not on facebook but I can spend hours reading the blogs I love, including yours. And I want that house on your blog header!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sherri, I've never opened a Facebook account. I know how time just seems to get away from us. The game you mentioned does sound interesting tho.

I had to step away from farmville too, it became an obsession while my sewing and garden suffered...I do have a lovely farm, got all the way to the top but I have not been there since before Christmas....although I still go to FB everyday. I also gave up fishworld....lololololo
ReplyDeleteI've been missing my blogging since I've been so involved with my genealogy project. I'll be done in the next couple of weeks though... I hope. It's my deadline anyway.
