Last week my double red camellia started blooming in our yard! I love these flowers. When we lived up North we couldn't grow camellias because it was way too cold for them. Alot of our neighbors have really beautiful shell pink camellias. I would love to get some more camellias and put them in pots for when we move into a house of our own but I am going to wait until then. It won't be for some time yet but I will just enjoy the one I've got now and my neighbors!
Here are my camellias:
These certainly are beautiful. The leaves look so healthy as well.
ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty. I love that they bloom in the winter.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Sherri! Thanks for sharing with us "Northerners!"

Don't they brighten the atmosphere! We can really appreciate color at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty...mine are white (planted by the owners that built our home).
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
They look very healthy and beautiful! :-)
ReplyDeleteMine are especially huge this Winter too - love them. My neighbor has a pale pink one - so pretty - mine are all red like yours.
ReplyDeleteWinter does have flashes of color that surprise us - and give us hope for Spring. Not looking forward to all that gardening ahead though - and still awaiting a nice heavy snowfall to help the soil and refresh the roots!
Meanwhile - enjoying a mild and sunny morning again.
Hugs - Mary
These are beautiful! I have white ones which tend to get brown around the edges. But I try to get then when they are still snow white and bring then in. They make great floaters.
ReplyDeleteLol - we're shoveling snow and you're growing flowers. They're beautiful!
