I have made a decision to simplify my life!
I have had an etsy site for many years now. I make and sell jewelry. I love to create different things like jewelry, knitting, painting, stained glass, etc. I have come to a time in my life though that I would like to simplify it a little more. I have decided to give up my etsy site. I have thought long and hard on this for the past month and I have prayed about it. It is time. I will still be making jewelry for gifts, for my family and myself but I won't be having the site anymore.
This decision is a good thing, not a bad thing. I feel like I have had a weight lifted off me just typing this. My job is extremely stressful and I work long hours.
I will have the shop open until the end of the month and then it will no longer be on etsy. So if there is anything you were eyeing for a gift or for yourself, please order it now.
I would like to thank everyone for all your orders, support, lovely comments and for the friendships I have formed (which can continue!!).
I'm always for simplifying things! For the longest I wanted and tried to have a second blog..., finally put the idea to rest, and if feels good. I guess, that's when you know you gained clarity and made the right decision -it's simply feels good.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are doing what works for you Sherri! Living simply is the only way to truly live!

Good for you Sherri! I believe in living a more simple life. Your jewelry is beautiful and I know that anyone gifted a piece(like I was) will truly treasure it (like I do)

I know that it can be stressful. You have to do what is right for you. I am just getting started so things are still slow for me. I will just take it day to day. But I have slowed down on blogging. It's been hard to keep up!
ReplyDeleteI don't wear much jewelry anymore in Hawaii, especially since I retired, but I always admire them. You do make the most beautiful jewelry, Sherri.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for simplifying my life at the moment and it's far more important to make time for family and friends and what pleasure you'll still receive from making your jewellery gifts for friends and family.
