Christmas Tree Tablerunner

I bought a kit when I was at Joanne Fabrics with Jenny, my youngest daughter.  Now that I am done with the Tunic Top I made her, I can now concentrate on my sewing projects!  This is what I will be working on:

I thought this would be really nice to put on my antique Dining Room table for the Christmas season.  This kit came with all the material-see below:

I love these colors!!  I can't wait to start on this.

I had to go to Hobby Lobby today to get fusible interfacing so I could make this.  I bought more material to make some more.  I think I'm going to put some on my etsy site when I get them done!  This is the best time to do that I'm sure.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!

Some Autumn Photos from the garden.

I just love this time of year!  The weather is crisper, there is a slight breeze and the flowers are putting on their last show of the year!  I walked around the yard yesterday and took a few photos that I thought I would share with you!

This geranium has been my favorite all year!  I am bringing this plant inside.

Butterfly Bush blossom.  This kept the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds going all summer!

One of my favorite coleus plants this season.

The favorite geranium up close.  I didn't even have to change the coloring, this is what color it truly is!

Green Ornamental Kale in my front urns dappled with sunlight.

Lantana

The last rose blossom of the year.

Happy little pansies.

Ornamental Kale in my flower boxes on the front porch.

Pretty little rosebud.

Yellow Chrysanthemums-so pretty and cheerful on the patio.
This was my attempt at taking a photo of the moon with my new camera.  Still working with the settings.  I thought it was pretty cool though!  There is a jet stream along the bottom of the moon, looks like the witches may have been flying by LOL!!

So that is my photo shoot for today!  I am thinking of making cards with my photos in them and selling them on etsy.com.  What do y'all think?  Enjoy your day!

The High Tide Club by Mary Kay Andrews

Let me start out by saying I have read all of Mary Kay Andrews books and this one is one of my favorites!!  The High Tide Club had alot going on and it was great!  I love books that are set in the low country.  This one had mystery, intrigue, murder, romance and it was just a great plot!  Here is the blurb from goodreads.com:

When ninety-nine-year-old heiress Josephine Bettendorf Warrick summons Brooke Trappnell to Talisa Island, her 20,000 acre remote barrier island home, Brooke is puzzled. Everybody in the South has heard about the eccentric millionaire mistress of Talisa, but Brooke has never met her. Josephines cryptic note says she wants to discuss an important legal matter with Brooke, who is an attorney, but Brooke knows that Mrs. Warrick has long been a client of a prestigious Atlanta law firm.

Over a few meetings, the ailing Josephine spins a tale of old friendships, secrets, betrayal and a long-unsolved murder. She tells Brooke she is hiring her for two reasons: to protect her island and legacy from those who would despoil her land, and secondly, to help her make amends with the heirs of the long dead women who were her closest friends, the girls of The High Tide Club, so named because of their youthful skinny dipping escapades. When Josephine dies with her secrets intact, Brooke is charged with contacting Josephines friends descendants and bringing them together on Talisa for a reunion of women whove actually never met.

Mary Kay Andrews out did herself!!!  If you are looking for a good read, I would recommend this one!

Last Friday night we went to my niece, Tawny's wedding in NJ.  The wedding was beautiful and we had a really nice time!  So happy for Tawny and Cody!!  We got to see their new house also, so happy for them!!

There were pictures at my sister and brother-in-laws house before the wedding.  Everyone looked so pretty and handsome!!

It was a perfect evening for a wedding.  It originally called for rain, which it didn't do!  It had gotten a little cooler too!  Glad for that it had been so humid!
