Do you ever feel like Norm on Cheers!

Yesterday I went back to work after being home sick for a week and I felt like Norm on Cheers when he walks through the door and everyone says his name-LOL!!! There was piles of work on my desk, plan table and my chair but there was also alot of glad your back not just because they wanted me to do their work. I have always loved the work I do but sometimes there is just too much of it and I get so swamped down and feel like I am never going to get it all done! The 32 contracts that I had written and put together and were just ready to be sent did in fact go out. The boss' daughter sent them for the project manager. There is a small glimmer of hope that there will be more help in the future!

It did feel good to be back and appreciated :)! It also felt good to feel like "Norm" for a moment and to know that you are greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

I'm so glad you are feeling better now, Sherri. Looks like everybody appreciates you at work like we do.

We all work, or used to work, for the income but I'm sure it is wonderful when you know you are appreciated. Glad you feel better now.

I can visualize your entrance, Sherri :) It's nice to feel appreciated too but even nicer to feel better than you did a week ago, I'll bet. Have a good day!

Wow Sherri! I can't believe you were out a whole week! I'm glad you are feeling better. You were probably happy to go back to work. Sometimes when we are home sick, we want nothing more than to get up off our butts, put ourselves together and greet the welcoming world.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
