This has been the first weekend since we moved in the house (the week after Thanksgiving) that John and I didn't have anything planned for either day! It was so nice to just do whatever we wanted to do. We were going to a hang a few more pictures and some more curtain but we decided we needed a "us" weekend instead. We both really enjoyed doing that. I am happy to say I am binding off the shawl I have been working on for me! I finally got enough time to sit down and work on it and I enjoyed every minute of it! I got some reading in too. I started reading Wild, which about a woman who trekked the Pacific Crest Trail in California all by herself. I am really enjoying it! Yesterday I did go knit with my knitting ladies and while everyone was not there, we had a really enjoyable afternoon!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend too!
It is freezing cold here today and it is only going to get colder! Keep warm!!

My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
