I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

I am sorry I haven't gotten on here to wish you all a Happy New Year until now!  I hope everyone has an awesome 2014!!!  I had my grandsons (ages 2 1/2 yrs. and 8 mos. old) New Year's Eve until around 11:00 on New Year's Day.  They are both so sweet and we had a really great visit!  The rest of New Year's Day I napped, knitted, read and watched movies with John.

I usually don't make resolutions, but I did promise myself to read more, keep on knitting and learning new things with knitting, lose weight, enjoy life more, go to the Beach for a week this year and try and reduce stress in my life.

I reflected on things that had happened to me in 2013 and here are a few things that I remembered as being a highlight:

1. The birth of my second grandson, Jack.  A huge thing in our life.  He is such a sweet baby boy!
2.  The Builder of our new home finally listened to us and our structural engineer and corrected the floor joist issue in our home.  It took a year but it is finally fixed and we can move on.
3.  John started a new job with a title company in the Ballantyne section of Charlotte and he really likes it and they like him!
4.  We had most of my family visiting this summer to meet little Jack.

There were many other things in 2013, but these were the most memorable!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas/New Year's holiday season.  I also wish that everyone has a wonderful 2014!!
