I just finished an amazing book!

This was a wonderful story of Jeanette Walls life. This book will stay with me for quite a few days. The book starts out in present day in NYC, goes to California, Phoenix, AZ, Texas, a small mining town in West Virginia called Welch and then back to NYC. This dysfunctional family really has a strange way of living. Your heart goes out to the children and you want to dislike the parents but then you end up feeling sorry for them. This book I recommend definitely!

I read it, and found it to be quite the amazing story, especially when you think that it is based on a true story. That such situations exist! And worse I'm sure.

I've heard so much about this book for quite a while now. Someday I'll get around to reading it. Thanks for your recommendation, Sherri!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
