Just chillin' out tonight!

I am really beat from work today! I'm just chillin' out tonight. I ate a chicken pot pie for dinner, called my Mom and chatted with her for a bit. John will be home from work soon. He is fighting a really bad cold, so I'm sure he'll just want to chill too!

Hey, what a coincidence. I used to love chicken pot pie, too. I just had the frozen dinner kind. When you're tired, it tasted just fine. Stay well.

Sounds like my evening. The fact that it is getting dark so early now makes me want to spend more evenings curled up with a book and a bowl of soup.

Hi Sherri,

I found it interesting that you, too, had to chill out awhile yesterday evening. Perhaps it's that time of year when our bodies are adjusting to the cooler days getting darker earlier. I actually had a day of quiet for the whole day. When I woke this morning I was rejuvenated...and eagerly anticipating new ways to make life more beautiful for myself and my loved ones.

Blessings for a wonderful day!
Brenda

PS I'd love to know how you make your chicken pot pie!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
