Sometimes I wish I didn't have to work!

I have had a very upsetting day at work and I wish I really didn't have to work anymore! I really like my job, but sometimes dealing with office drama and all the personalities really get me down. I feel so scrutinized all the time. Oh well hopefully this will pass!

  1. Sorry to hear you've had an upsetting day.

I always say how much more time I'd have if i didn't have to work!

  2. I would love not to work. I never have time for the things I want to do. Then again, if I didn't work, I probably wouldn't have the money to do them;)

  5. Not long ago after I had a really bad day at work, I asked my husband if I could quit my job; I told him I would do EVERYTHING: Mow the grass, clean, paint, groceries...he wouldn't have to do a thing. He told me that would be fine, but I could forget about the condo at the beach that we hope to own one day. I told him it didn't matter - that if I continued to work, I would be dead, so I won't be around to enjoy it! LOL Hope things get better for you!

  6. That's why I retired at age 55. Couldn't work with people I disliked. Now I am 63, collecting social security, and living it up. I write and publish books on the side. Great life.

  7. I hate to be perverse but when I was working I'd have days that I wished I didn't have to work. Now I look at all the great times I had while working.

  8. This too shall pass. Don't let it bug you. There are good days and bad days and your attitude is what makes or breaks it. You can't control others, but you can control how you react to them.

Since I don't have the option of not working, I have to cram all the things I like to do into the little time I have free. That's probably why I stay up till 12 or 1am and function on five or six hours of sleep. Another choice of mine, maybe not the best one, but I'm having fun!!

Hang in there Sherri! Better days are coming!
