Today I just ran and ran at work!

Oh boy am I tired!! Today at work we had a bid that was going in at 3:00. Estimating asked if I would help them out today, which I did. We have 2 fax machines, which are at opposites ends of the building. I had to take the faxes to the 8 guys estimating the divisions for the main bid. The only thing I really had to remember and be careful about was who was bidding which part of the bid (what division). The company bought us lunch for helping on the bid and it was presented at 3:00 by our head of marketing. We should know very shortly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this project to be awarded to us. It was fun to do!

Hope you win the contract, my day was similar with a sudden influx of new students!

Sarah, we found out we won right before we left for home!! It was a 6.5 million dollar project and we really needed something good coming our way so everyone was happy! I told the head of preconstruction I had used my secret, special Notary stamp on the bid and he said I will be notarizing everything from now on-LOL!!

My day was rather quiet actually. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

We need to catch one of those sizable bids too. Nothing so far to carry us thru the summer months.
Congratulations on your companies success!

Good grief! That sounds like a marathon. You are a stronger woman than I.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
