I have finally finished the watercolor and here it is!

Here are 2 photos of the Queen Anne's Lace watercolor painting I did. This is my second attempt at painting Queen Anne's Lace in watercolor paints. My Mom takes watercolor classes and when she was down visiting about a month ago, she showed me a different technique to paint these beautiful wildflowers. I have always loved them and she remembered that! She is coming down in June and I hope she brings her watercolors with her.

This is a closeup of 2 of the Queen Anne's Lace blossoms.

I have decided to take the watercolor painting course offered at the community college. Megan has decided to give this to me as a gift for my 50th birthday, which is in July! I can't wait! Hope you like it!

Milly, maybe I'll have a new job! I really want to get back into painting with my acrylics too! The watercolors are harder I think but so rewarding! Thanks for your lovely comments!

Ginny-thanks for your sweet comments too!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog Sherri! Your painting is lovely - I'm so envious of anyone who can draw and paint, as I'm not very good at all!

I will make a cup of tea and be back to read some more of your blog!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
