John is picking up the keys to the Townhouse today!

John will be meeting the owner today at 4:30 to pick up the keys for the townhouse. They said because they made us wait for the lease so long they would allow us to move in early. We aren't going to live there and the furniture is already scheduled to be moved on the 12th but we will bring some boxes over. I'm going to set up the kitchen and the bathrooms. It will make the move so much easier if those things are all ready. John and I are tea drinkers but I'm sure some of the other people helping us will want coffee. I have the box marked with the coffee maker in it for just that reason. This is an exciting new beginning for John and I! We need something good and positive in our lives for a change! Thanks for all the support of all my wonderful blog friends!

Anything that you can do to avoid the last minute chaos is probably best. Hope the move goes well with no unexpected glitches.

I'm glad you're got some buffer time and can move a few things over. That will really help. I'm so happy for you, Sherri.

That's so nice that the owner is letting you get the keys early. Moving over small stuff will make the big move so much easier.

Are you going to do any painting of rooms? This would be a great time to do that.

I'm so glad that you found a really nice place to live. This will be a big turn-around for you.

Oh, I can feel the excitement as you look forward to your new life. Sometimes what at first looks like momma bird throwing us out of the nest too early turns out to be those experiences that help us feel the winds of newness and adventure.

Enjoy and Congrats!

I wish you both well and a fresh start in your new home Sherri.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
