Snow Angel

Last night I was watching the news before I went to bed and the weather came on. The mountains of NC are expecting quite a bit of snow this weekend. The Piedmont region (I live in Charlotte, NC) may get a few flurries too! Then they showed all the pics from Houston, TX and New Orleans, where they hardly ever get snow this time of year or at all! All these pictures of snow reminded me of myself and my 2 sisters when we were little making "snow angels". Then my two girls following in our footsteps without any coaching making "snow angels" too! I found this picture on line and I thought I would share it with you! Isn't is just gorgeous! What lovely memories that picture brought back for me. How simple it is to create and such beauty afterwards. Enjoy your Saturday!!

Love it Sherri! Gosh, we used to make snow angels as kids all the time. What fun it used to be! We just got over a foot and a half of snow yesterday so there's plenty out there for snow angels. lol.

That's the prettiest snow angel I've ever seen. I remember those days. It was worth all the snow down my collar and so much fun!

Now that is a gorgeous snow angel. It's been such a long time since I've done one. I wonder if my granddaughter will attempt one this year.

It looks awfully cold. I remember winters in New York City, where I lived for 5-1/2 years. Not pleasant.

I love making snow angels. Unfortunately, living in the south, there's not a lot of chances we get to make them!

Hugs,

That foto is so incredibly beautiful & succently captures the innate purity of both 'snow angels' and winter in the NC mountains & foothills. Awesome!! :)

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
