Wire Bird Nest Necklaces and alot of Laughing!

Yesterday one of my knitting group friends came over and I taught her how to make wire bird nest necklaces. Patty brought some of her beautiful tiny glass beadwork over and I was amazed at all the things she had brought to show me-they were absolutely gorgeous! She used to work for her friend, who has a bead shop in California. Every time there was a class, she would sign up for it and she learned some absolutely gorgeous things!

Patty made 2 bird nest necklaces for Christmas gifts, which turned out wonderful! She is a natural. We laughed and told stories about each others lives the whole time. John came in at one point and was laughing at us laughing like a bunch of schoolgirls! Atleast it was fun and we had a wonderful time! We have decided to do this more often and hopefully there will be alot of laughing again!

I love it. We had two bead shops here a year ago. Both closed. Do you buy your supplies from a catalog or online?

Marnie,I try to buy most of my supplies through etsy.com. I like to help people/artists like myself when I can. I also buy some things through an on-line catalog.

I LOVE that necklace. Next time you gals get together, let me know. I'll make a road trip down. I would love to learn now to make that necklace. I love birds and anything that goes along with them! I'm not kidding. I would love to get together. Love & blessings from NC!

I saw something like that in a jewelry shop on Maui and thought about you. :-)

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
