Today after work I had to stop by Harris Teeter to pick up a few things and guess what greeted me at the door-PINK TULIPS! They just looked so lovely and I just couldn't leave them sitting there. I snatched up 2 bunches and brought them home. I got out my green Depression glass vase and proceeded to arrangement them. Here is the results:
I put the vase of Pink Tulips on my sideboard next to my violet tea set.
Tulips always put a smile on my face and I hope they made you smile too!
So pretty Sherri! You know I'm a sucker for tulips and your pictures are wonderful!

I bought tulips a few days ago... they are so cheery. Yours are a very pretty pink!
ReplyDeleteIt's been snowing and blizzardy a few days... no sign of let up, so tulips are a real soul-treat around here!
Your blog looks so spring like -- loved it!
Oh my! Is it tulip time already! I just love them! They add such a lovely splash of color. Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are so fantastic looking in that vase - soooo jealous! I have to laugh at the mention of "violets" today, we were antiquing and saw a cross stitch with violets on it...but it said "Listen to the Violets"
ReplyDelete(I wispered to Karrie...."what are they saying" - we chuckled...and here I am giggling again with you Sherri!
Have a great day!
I love tulips, but daffodils are my all time favorites. I guess because they always are blooming for my birthday in March. And they remind me so much of spring. I have hundreds of daffodils that bloom in my yard! A few have already started blooming. Thanks for sharing your beautiful tulips. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteThey definitely made me smile. Everything looks lovely and your vase is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love tulips! I was thinking this morning about stopping by and picking up some flowers; my roses (bought last week) are ready for the trash, and I love having the cheerfulness of fresh flowers.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I was just thinking yesterday that I need to pick some up. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with tulips! I want to go out and buy some now!!
