Rockefeller Christmas Tree
Last night the Rockefeller Christmas tree was lit! What a gorgeous tree. This year I missed going into NYC to see the tree. A few years ago my sisters and I took my Dad into the City to see the tree and the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. He doesn't even like the City but that year he was having a bad bout with his Lupus and insisted he go into the City for the tree and the Rockettes! We had a really great time all together. We took him to Ted Turner's Restaurant not very far from there and had a lovely meal. We saw the Rockettes, the tree and then went into St. Patrick's Cathedral. What a wonderful visit to the City that was! What a really fond memory!

Where do you get the snow?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo. It sounds like you had a very magical time. That is certainly a memory to hold dear to your heart.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even gone to see my own town's Christmas three and decorations. Need to remember to take my camera and get some photos.

I missed watching it on tv the other night but you're right, it sure is a beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteI am a native New Yorker and have many fond memories of the tree and Rockefeller Center. My favorite were the golden trumpeting angels lined up before the tree. Beautiful photo...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBella, I googled it!
