Here are a few more pictures of the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden John and I went to on Saturday. We have been there before but every time we go we see so many different things than the time before.
Close to the beginning of the gardens there was this very colorful plant. I don't have any idea what it is put it was very vibrant!
In the Orchid Conservatory there is this orchid water wall. It is absolutely gorgeous!! There are so many different orchid on this wall and they were all gorgeous!
This airplant archway is really wonderful. There are actually 3 airplant archways. You can see the lavendar frosted glass statute too.
In the Orchid Conservatory building this frosted glass statute is in there. It is so beautiful!
While we were looking at beautiful orchid this thorny trunked tree was in one section. The tree wasn't labeled but I wouldn't want to rub up against this tree!
Along the path there were cute little zinnias. I loved this hot pink one.
The Japanese Iris were still blooming despite the heat. I loved this one.
Hydrangeas are always gorgeous and this one didn't disappoint.
While we were walking through a section of the garden there was this bench with the little bunny statue on it. How cute!
Here is the bench again with books also. You could tell these books had been left outside for a little while-they were waterstained, curled and absolutely wonderful. I loved this display.
Hope you enjoyed some more of the Botanical Garden. I will be going there on June 13th for a World-Wide Knit-In. There will be presentations, lessons, plant-dyed yarns, yarns made from bamboo, cornstarch and even milk!! I'll let y'all know how it is!
What a wonderful garden! I would love to wander around there for hours.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect does the bench look with the rabbit and books.
