I always love when I learn something new and today was the day! I learned how to do Broomstick Lace! I have a really pretty yarn that is variegated with all the colors on a peacock! Here is a picture of the yarn-it is made by Universal and it is called Reef.

You use a size 35 US Knitting Needle and you pretty much crochet and add loops to this huge knitting needle. Then you take 5 loops off and crochet single crochet into the loop 5 times and on and on. I watched a youtube.com video of this technique and it was really simple!
I will be working on a scarf in between the 2 cowls I'm making. Don't want to get bored!!
