The Pottery Barn Holiday Decorating Seminar was great!

I went to the PB Seminar today with my two daughters, Megan and Jenny. We had alot of fun and got some wonderful ideas. The picture above is of the mecury glass candle pillars. They come in varying sizes and range in price from $19.00-$39.00. The had red velvet candles on them and they put the red berries they sell in a spray around them. They looked just wonderful! They used 6 of the pillars though, which would amount to alot. Then They switched out the red candles for silver sparkle candles and switched out the berrie swags for silver, shiny balls on a swag. Absolutely gorgeous. They also did an arrangement on a mantel with their beautiful silk amaryllis, greens and some other silver ornaments. They really knew how to get you excited about decorating!! It was a fun time with the girls. We did a little shopping and then came home and crashed!! Just a note to everyone: PB does these seminars every year all around the country, so check it out next year!

I wish I had a Pottery Barn in my area. Sounds like a lot of fun. I really enjoy decorating seminars.

Marnie, it was fun! I'm sorry there isn't a PB by you. I have 2 near my home and it is great! I love that store, I just wish they would lower their prices! I have to take back an ornament I bought yesterday. I thought the tag said $9.00, which I would have paid but when I came home and showed John (my hubby) I had my glasses on and saw it was $19.00!! That is just way too much for an ornament.

Our Pottery Barn holds these classes once a month - just took their brunch/Easter one yesterday. Always such good ideas!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
