Trying a New Diet or Healthy Way of Living

I have been looking at this book for awhile and last night I finally bought it. This book has been brought up in alot of conversations I've been involved with lately. I thought I would check it out while I was at Borders last night and decided to give it a try. From what I read I think I can really stick to this and change the way I have been eating to a more healthier way of eating. I will let you all know how I do! Wish me luck!!

Sherri - let me know if this diet works for you. I'd love to get rid of my "baby belly" - 36 years after my last baby was born!

Yes, good luck. I have such a hard time sticking to a diet because I eat out so much. I need to get more exercise, especially in the winter.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

I started Weight Watchers on New Year's Eve so I could get the New Year off to a good start. It's probably the 3rd or 4th time I've joined, but I really hope this time I reach my goal. I personally think you can do any diet, but none will work unless you go with the "headgame" and make it work - so easy to say, of course!! Good luck to you (and me!!)

Mary-the picture is of Kerry, Ireland. I just thought I love that picture so much why not make it the header for my blog!

Thanks everyone for the encouragement for the Flat Belly Diet. I read some more in the book last night and decided to start it next Monday. I have to read the rest of the book and then buy all the items I will need. I am eating healthier though in the mean time. Alot more fruits, whole grains and veggies will be added to my diet that's for sure.

Joshua-thanks for stopping by for the first time!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
