SNOW in Charlotte again!

Well I can't believe we've had snow in Charlotte again! I have lived here for almost 5 years and this is the first year we have had snow. This is the second snow this year!! There really was only a heavy dusting here this time. You did have to watch out for black ice on the way into work today. I actually think it looks pretty! I know most of you are saying she is absolutely crazy because I know alot of you are just plain sick of it! This snow will probably be gone by tomorrow. It would be gone today but the temps dropped down to 19 degrees, so it will stick around a little longer. The schools here have closed, which I was really surprised about. They probably could have had a delayed opening, but chose to just close. Concord, NC had more snow and that is where Jenny and Kevin live. I haven't talked to her yet, but I do hope she is careful if she has to work today. I think she has off though.

Well everyone please indulge me with my love of the southern snow! Everyone stay warm, safe and happy today!!

It is pretty isn't it? You are very lucky it isn't staying around very long. We are due for some warm temperatures this weekend so most of ours will melt.

They say we may see snow in south Florida, though I highly doubt it. It is a nice thought and your view is pretty. Enjoy the coziness inside your home!!

Well it looks lovely and I always like to have snow. I am also surprised your schools had a snow day though!

Dudette! The weather is weirdin' out! It's snowing in the South and it's going to be 67 degrees here in my part of Colorado!

It matters not whether snow should fall in a certain place or not, it always seems to show how pretty it is, even if it's hanging off a palm tree!

Your photo is picturesque!

I was wrong the snow is all gone now! It was pretty while it lasted. I am so happy it doesn't stick around for very long. I had enough of that when I lived in NW NJ!

The snow is beautiful. We have only gotten cold. Cold is no fun without snow...

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
