Packing some small items today

John and I are packing some small items today. I thought I would pack up my green depression glass collection in bubble wrap today and get that put in one of the walk in closets upstairs for safe keeping. I have to go through the closet under the stairs on the first floor too. I'm sure there is a few garage sale items in there! Our neighborhood is having a garage sale on 6/6 so I'm getting things ready for that too. This is a good way to weed out what we don't want. We won't have as much room in the new place so we have to get rid of a few things. I've listed some things on Craig's List and some of the things seem to be selling, which is a good thing!

The lease on the new townhome will be ready to sign the beginning of this week. We are really excited about that! We all have agreed on everthing ahead of time, lets just hope their lawyer doesn't mess things up. We all agreed on a realy simple lease and that's what I hope he writes.

Everyone have a lovely weekend!

  3. Your new place looks like a gem! I was so sorry read that you would be losing your home. That's a tragedy. Somehow, I have a feeling that that you will back on this time and view it as having been a blessing.

Thank you for swinging by my place and leaving a such a lovely note there. I hope everything goes smoothly with your transition into your new home.

    Blessings,

BTW, I love your shabby chic bedroom idea -- I'd could cozy down in that room!
