This was an extremely sad weekend for our family.

Jenny had a miscarriage yesterday morning. She was with me almost all day on Saturday and she looked really pale and was spotting. She rested alot of the day and then went home that night. Kevin had to work yesterday morning and while he was gone she had a miscarriage. My heart went out to them, they were looking forward to have this baby so much. We all were as a matter of fact. She is feeling pretty good today, they came down for lunch and so did Megan and Ken. She was laughing and I think it was really good they both came down. You always need to keep your mind off things like that. She told me she cried it all out last night and she felt much better mentally. I am not so impressed with how 2009 has treated our family-that's for sure!! Jenny said I'm definitely going to stay up to usher this year out at midnight on 12/31 and usher in a new year! I agree!

  4. Sherri - I'm so sorry to hear this. Please let Jenny and Kevin know that they're in my thoughts.

I like Jenny's idea of saying goodbye to 2009 and ushering in a brand new year. Why wait until December? Why not have a New Year's Eve party now?

  7. I am so sorry, Sherri. We went through the same thing with our daughter, too and I remember that pain. I am really feeling for you. However, after a time our daughter did become pregnant again and we have our little dumpling coming to visit soon. I just know Jenny will also have a beautiful baby in time. In the meantime, we're, all of us holding you in our thoughts and prayers.

  11. Thank you everyone for your prayers, thoughts and just wonderful comments. We are all strong people and will get through this trying time. Jenny went to the Dr. today and she seems to be very positive and in a great frame of mind. She has always gotten over things rather quickly, she cries for a few hours and then bounces back rather quickly. She is a very practical, strong young woman. They are going to try again in a few months.
