I made a few pieces of jewelry tonight

I made one jacket/sweater pull, which was a sterling silver charm of a poinsettia with a green and red Swarovski crystal. I made a mauve Swarovski glass pearl with a Swarovski Rondelle on either side of the pearl. That was a necklace, which Megan ordered for her friend for Christmas. I also made an initial/birthstone Mom bracelet. I couldn't get any pics to come out really we;; tonight so I'm going to have to do that tomorrow night. That was it for tonight because the Rockefeller Tree is being lit tonight and I have to watch that. I also need some more supplies, which I will pick up on my way home tomorrow night from work. Everyone have a great evening!

I'd like to try some jewelry makeing. I can't find a place in my area that sells the materials. Guess I'll have to drive a little to another town.

I can't wait to see what you've made. I make jewelry also and need to get my butt in gear because I have several things I need to do for the holidays. You sound like you have a nice life - all the reading you do, the jewelry you make, having fun with your girls - you sound so peaceful. I'm enjoying your blog. It's fun to read about the things you do. Next year I'm going to keep a list of the books I've read. I like that idea!!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
