Baby it's cold outside!!!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr, is it cold here today! I think the thermometer read something like 5 this morning!!! It isn't suppose to be that cold here in Charlotte, NC!! I feel like I'm back in NJ! I know it is colder there than here and so is most of the country. I am ready for the temps to get back to normal but the weatherfibber said the whole week is going to be like this. I guess Duke Energy and Piedmont Gas will be really happy-more people having their gas and electric on to keep warm.

On another note, I would like to thank everyone for all your prayers and kind words about Jenny's miscarriage. Tomorrow she goes to the Dr. and hopefully she and Kevin will finally get some answers.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and warm day!

Sherri, you can blame me for sending the cold weather - but I didn't send it all. It's breathtaking cold her still. I'm blaming Canada :D
I hope Jenny and Kevin can get some helpful answers from the doctor. I haven't shared this anywhere else (and don't plan to) but my son's wife had a miscarriage ten days ago. She was only four weeks pregnant but they'd given us a Christmas ornament announcing the good news. I feel badly for them. I know she has a dr. appt soon too. I think it happens a lot, though. For whatever reason. Hugs to you and yours, Sherri.

Oh Sherri... I'm so sorry about the baby. I know how excited all of you were. I'm praying the Doctor finds out the problem and that one day their dream will come true.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
