The South is starting to come out of the deep freeze!/Haiti Earthquake

It is so much warmer today! When I walked out of the house to go to work I didn't gasp for breathe! It is suppose to be in the 40's today-YAY!! By the weekend it should be in the mid-50's and only dropping to the high 20's at night. I have the start of a cold and I really didn't need that bitter cold with the wind at all.

On another note: My prayers go out to the people of Haiti. What devastation has come to their country. Our minister's wife, Pam was in Haiti when the earthquake came. She is ok, but doesn't know when she will be able to get back home. We have a sister church in Haiti and one of our Church families is hosting a young man while he goes to college here in Charlotte. I'm sure he is extremely worried about his family. Everyone please keep Haiti in your thoughts and prayers!

Your blog is looking so pretty and romantic. Love the header picture.
Isn't it nice that it is finally warming up here.
When I am home I have been glued to CNN. The situation in Haiti is so sad. They are in my prayers.

I've sent in my contribution to the Haiti relief already.

I had to smile about you being happy because you're getting 40 degrees. We're having a bit of cold weather and the news reports are asking people how we're coping with the 60 degree temperatures. My daughter is getting 20 in Illinois.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
