I'm Back!!

I'm back from my NJ trip! It was a wonderful time, but we are really glad to be home. I will have pictures tomorrow of our trip. John and I got to see alot of our friends and family. We stayed with my parents and it was good to visit with them too! Teddy did wonderful on the ride up and back. He was really happy to be back home though. We brought back lots of home grown beef from my Dad and Mom's farm, we brought a butterfly bush back from my Mom's garden, Dad gave us peppers and tomatoes out of his garden and we were able to buy some shoes and clothes at some outlets near my parents house (no sales tax on clothes-YAY!!). Well off to do some laundry!

Angie, I hope the exercise is over soon! Veg away-that is what I'm doing! That 11 hr. ride back home is a killer sometimes. Teddy did great though both ways!!

Glad you had a wonderful trip and time with family. I guess the worst part was the long drive. I always knit in the car when my husband drives. Can't wait to see your pictures. Love & blessings from NC!

Welcome home Sherri! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I bet the drive was pretty with the leaves.

Penny, believe it or not the leaves were not that great! Some trees were still pretty but there hasn't been that much rain, so it made all the colors on the way up muted. Kind of disappointing :(.

I wish we didn't have tax on stuff here! I live in Ky and it's 6% on everything, then they tax you to death on your cars, house, electric bill etc. etc. etc. Yikes! Sounds like you had fun on your trip..it's always nice to get away. :)
I am LOVIN' this crockpot! I have been cooking in it almost nightly! lol I didn't realize how much easier the ones with the lift out crocks weres....Oh Joy in my little heart! :) lol It really has been fun and the best part is it was free!!! I love free. :)

Have a great week!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
