New Maggie Sefton Book Being Released!

For all you knitting cozy mystery fans Maggie Sefton has a new book coming out called Double Knit Murders. It will be released on November 2, 2010. I love these quick reads and especially since it is about knitting. They usually include a pattern in the back too! Here is what had to say about this book:

In Knit One, Kill Two, Kelly Flynn returns to Colorado for her aunt's funeral only to suspect that the woman's death was not an accident. With the help of the knitting regulars at House of Lambspun, Kelly's about to get a few lessons in creating a sumptuously colored scarf-and in luring a killer out of hiding. In Needled to Death, Kelly visits her friend Vickie's alpaca farm, and finds her splayed out on her original hand-woven rug, blood seeping into the design. Kelly can't resist investigating-even if it means taking a break from the sweater she's been knitting in the round.

About the Author
Maggie Sefton was born and raised in Virginia, where she received her bachelor's degree in English literature and journalism. Author of the national bestselling Knitting mysteries, she resides in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado with two very demanding dogs.

I like cozy mysteries.... and I don't think I've read any of this author's before. Not familiar.

Though I'm not a knitter, I'm always up for hanging around creative crafters!

I just started one of Debbie Macomber's books that has to do with knitting. This book sounds good too. Thanks for sharing. I will have to check it out. Looking forward to the big event on Saturday. Can't wait. Love & blessings from NC!

Thank you for the heads up on this author. I bet her mysteries will be very entertaining. Kind of like the cat mysteries. I can't think of the author. I hate that. Smile.

I am really looking forward to meeting you at Penney's home on Saturday.
Hugs, Jeanne

Sherri, thanks so much for your note regarding Buddy. I appreciate it.

I read the first one in this series but haven't read anymore. I always wondered if the series was worth keeping up with. I do remember enjoying the first one.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
