Update on my cancer treatment.

Hi Everyone!  Happy New Year very belated.  I have been having a very busy January and I have not kept up with my blog or much of anything.  I had a PET Scan, lab work and blood work a few weeks ago.  My oncologist told me she wanted to show my case to numerous oncologists she has Zoom Meetings with on Wednesday mornings.  She did that and they suggested no chemo at this time (YEAH!!!!) but they do feel radiation should be done on the enlarged lymph node on my wait near my spine.  It grew 1 cm since the last scan.  I see the radiologist on this Friday at 8:30 a.m.  I will find out exactly what they want to do, when and how long.  I really don't know anything about radiation so this will all be new to me.

Steve and I are still dating and things are going along very well!  We enjoyed our Christmas together and have seen each other every weekend since.  Some of the weekends have been longer because I have had a Friday and Monday off.  He has been very supportive about my cancer treatments also.  He went with my on the Friday I met with my oncologist about the PET Scan results.  We went to an early dinner afterwards.  It was so nice to have someone to lean on.

Here is a photo of Steve and I at his son, Scott's 50th birthday party.  We had so much fun and it was good to spend time with his family.  They are great!

Steve lives in Troy, NC.  There is a really cute coffee/tea shop that called Uwharrie Mercantile.  It used to be an old hotel.  It has the original penny tile floors, the light fixture look like they were original gas lamps but have been converted to electric.  There is tin on all the ceilings, which is so pretty.  It is original to the building, they don't make tin ceilings like that anymore.  Alot of the woodwork is original also.  I usually get the Chai Latte and Steve gets the Frosted Cinnamon Bun coffee.

Riley got this orange ring dog toy for Christmas from me.  I thought for sure he would have it torn apart in 2 split seconds.  I was wrong, he still has it and it looks like new!!

My helebores has been blooming since December.  I love it!

I got these roses at work.  I always make an arrangement for my bedroom because I love flowers on my nightstand.  Well these were in water and they dried by themselves.  I'm going to Hobby Lobbyto see if they have a heart shaped box that I could glue the roses to the box.

These roses dated out at work, which means they had expred.  I always take 1, 2 or even 3 home to make beautiful with them.  This coral rose was the perfect choice for my bedroom!  Love the color so much.

The sunrise yesterday morning was just so beautiful!  I'm glad I caught it before work!

I picked up 3 bouquets of flowers that dated out at work and made this arrangement at Steve's house.  It is so big but you can't see this in the photo.

Well that is all I have for you today!  I hope everyone is well with all the snow, sleet and ice we have been having.  The wind hasn't been awful also!
