Winter has Definitely Arrived in the South!!!

Well when I woke up today it was 10 degrees with a wind chill making it seem more like zero!!  I know the more North you go the colder it gets.  I have lived here for 9 years and this is definitely the coldest winter so far.  When you are in the sun and the wind isn't blowing it isn't too bad, but when the wind picks up and the sun goes down it is mighty cold!

I am work now but I really wish I was in bed, all wrapped up with a cup of tea and a good book or my knitting.  I guess that is what I'll be doing tonight!!

Everyone stay warm, make sure your pets don't stay outside too long (if you have pets) and just play snuggle up!!

  3. Sherri- Your header took my breath away! Gorgeous! It's just starting to warm up a bit in my neck of the woods, but I do love the snow! Christmas was a time of prayer for us as we were hit hard by unexpected trials. I'll be blogging about it soon. So thankful God got us through. Big hugs! Lori

  5. Reading a good book while bundled up with blankets is what I love most about winter. Also, no one expects too much from me! tee her... It's just too cold to do anything but snuggle up. Perfect. Thanks for stopping by, sweetie. I've missed you. :) Lori
