Married Life

 I know I shocked everyone with my last post!  Steve and I are so happy and love doing things together here in Troy!  Steve moved into his house in October of 2025.  We are making it "ours".  I brought some flowers from my house in Rockwell (which is on the market now).  They are doing pretty well here.  Two of the roses are in shock but they will rebound.  All the other flowers have really taken a liking to here.  

We went to NJ to visit my family for Easter.  This was the first time they met Steve and they love him!  My Mom is so happy that I am not alone and very happy now.  She and Steve talked quite a bit about country music and other things.  My sister, Sue and brother in law, Chuck spent time getting to know him and they got along so well.  My nephew, Troy and his wife, Ashe came for Easter dinner and loved Steve as well!  It was a great visit!  Steve doesn't do too well on long trips and it was a 12 hr. drive straight through.  I think next time we will do it in 2 days.  We only visit 1-2 times a year.  While we were in NJ, my sister and brother in law took us to the St. Moritz restaurant in Lake Mohawk in Sparta, NJ.  It was such a wonderful dinner and the company was great!  Here is a photo of Steve and I there:

Well duties call-house cleaning today!  Tomorrow we are going to Albemarle to Lowe's to get some azaleas for the garden out front.  We have wonderful knockout roses getting ready to bloom by the garage but we need something along the driveway when you come into the front.
