Fall is here-Where does the time go???

Hi Everyone!  It has been awhile.  I have been here at home, went to NJ for a birthday visit for my Mom's 89th birthday, trip down to see Megan and Bryan in Conway, SC and back home again!  It has been busy, busy!  Fall colors have definitely made it to our home and surroundings.  The colors are just beautiful.  I didn't know Steve until a few days after Thanksgiving last year so I didn't get to see any of the lovely Fall leaves here.  The birds have been very active.  We have seen alot of house finches, gold finches, bluebirds, cardinals, wrens and even a Towhee.  Here are some photos of them:

Towhee eating some seed on the ground.

I drove up to NJ for my Mom's 89th birthday.  Steve couldn't come because he has altitude issues and driving in the car for long hours issues.  I really wished he could come, but I understand.  Here are some photos from that trip:

About 1 week after I got back from NJ, I went down to Conway, SC for the day to see Megan and her boyfriend, Bryan.  We had a great day!  We went to lunch at Cape Fear Seafood Company in N. Myrtle Beach.  Then we drove around Conway, where Bryan lives to see Halloweentown.  Conway decorates for Halloween every year.  Here are some photos:

Here are some of the Fall leaves in our yard:

Steve and I went to Star, NC (next town over) to Star Glassworks.  They have a pumpkin glassblowing month where you can buy the pumpkins that have been blown there.  So pretty!  Steve bought me this one:

I have been baking up a storm!  Apple Crisp, Apple, Blueberry and Banana Nut Muffins and this year I made applesauce with apples I bought in NJ:

Well that's a wrap for now!  Now you can understand why I haven't been on here in a bit.  Busy, busy!  Now I will be working on Thanksgiving and Christmas things.  Steve and I are having Thanksgiving here with his family.  I think we will have almost 25 people!!  Should be fun!

Everyone have a wonderful day!

Sherri
