Not such great news!

The other day I posted the Builder would be starting our house soon.  Well Friday we got a delayed start e-mail that was automatically generated by the Builder.  The email wasn't very nice.  We called our Builder's Rep and some paperwork has not been put in on time, so we are now looking at a 2 possibly 3 week delay on the completion of our house.  So instead of an October 1st closing it will likely be the middle of October. It isn't the end of the world, but needless to say we are disappointed.  We let them know we are not happy with this and that their better not be any more delays.

Just another day in the building world!!

That's too bad! Building a new home can be so frustrating sometimes, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait! Maybe they can compensate you with a few upgrades?!

That is frustrating, I am sure! I'm with Kat, see if you can get a free upgrade on something for the delay, or money towards closing....

Isn't this just the way. Whether doing renovations or building new, there are always times when we are just waiting, waiting. Just focus on Christmas, Sherri, and you'll be all set!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
