It is snowing in the South!!

This is the view outside my office window.  The snow actually looks so pretty!  It is a very sticky snow so every tree branch is covered.  Very beautiful!

We are however, having snow today, tomorrow and then on Thursday ice!  I don't mind the snow, I just don't do ice.  So I will not be driving into work those days.

My youngest sister, Sandy sent this photo yesterday:

This is the view from her front door!  She lives in NW NJ where I grew up.  Glad I'm not there.  She also informed me when she and her hubby went to the ski area to go snowboard in Vernon, NJ (this is about 20 mins. from her house) it was -7!  YIKES!!

Everyone who is getting snow or ice take it easy on the roads if you are heading out or heading home from work.  Stay warm and safe!!

Rain Rain and more Rain is the order of the day in the UK although there is threatening of snow coming our way, it's certainly feeling cold enough.

Sherri, starting falling thick, very thick, just at 12:30 pm today here in Raleigh - don't recall EVER seeing snow stick so quickly - now at 1:30 pm everything is already covered! Yes, may get icy tomorrow - our schools have now missed far too many days this winter.

Vernon, NJ is where my next door neighbors hale from - I'll show them your pic and once again they'll be happy they came south, haha!

Fabulous header here Sherri - oh to be able to wear a dress like that gorgeous red one!

Take care in the weather Mary

It does look very pretty indeed, but you do have to be careful on those slick roads.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
