John and I saw Angels and Demons by Dan Brown today!

This afternoon John and I went to see Angels and Demons with my bookclub. It was a very good movie. I hadn't read the book but John did and he said it was still really good. Sometimes when you've read a book and then see it you are let down but he said not the case with this movie. Tom Hanks looked much better in this movie than in The DaVinci Code. His hair was cut shorter and he didn't look so old. Ewan McGregor was a priest in the movie and he did a superb job too! The female lead actress did a really nice job also (can't remember her name). It was definitely worth seeing! It was the perfect fit for a rainy Sunday afternoon.

  2. Thanks for the review, Sherri. I did read the book also which was much gorrier than DaVinci Code. Hmmm? Is that how you spell gorrier? Looks weird. Anyway, it was bloodier than DaVinci Code. I shall make it a point to watch it.

  3. Kay, I agree some parts were gorrier (I agree I don't know if we spelled that right but we know what we mean-LOL!). One part in the movie I thought was a little hokey too, kind of James Bond hokey. It was a good movie though. I'm glad we went to see it! It was a packed house too!

  4. It got good reviews from the critics too. Everyone said it was very bloddy, that kind of turned me off on seeing it.

  5. Marnie, it wasn't that bloody. There certainly was alot of drama though.

I haven't seen that movie, but I've heard it's great.

Congratulations on finding a new place to live. I'm crossing my fingers that your old one will sell soon :)
