Alfresco Eating Areas

John and I ate our dinner tonight outside on the patio. We will definitely have to get something to take care of the flies and mosquitoes!! The breeze felt wonderful out there though. I just get tired of AC sometimes and need some outside air. This started me thinking about alfresco eating areas outside. Here are a few pictures I found on line when I goggled alfresco eating areas and I thought I would share them with you!

This is my all time favorite! If I lived near the water, this would be just perfect for John and I!!

This coastal picture is just lovely! I love those light fixtures!!

I love the linen table cloth and the swing in this picture! I would be swinging away while I eat, which may not work but I would surely like to try!

Is this just divine!!

Do you like eating alfresco?

Those are all beautiful. Kent and I love dining al fresco. Especially under our new pergolo. We don't have flies or many mosquitos we are lucky.

We dined alfresco tonight! Grey skies though, but still wonderful. Divine pictures.

Where's the butler serving me off of silver trays and those people fanning would love to dine alfresco if I didn't have to cook it or clean up afterwards.

oh do we ever Sherri! I lack a wonderful backyard for it though...pleanty of yard, but no deck or patio as of yet...fortunate for us - we have a nice big porch or "veranda" as they like to call it - and it's across from a lovely park...with a bandstand! During the summer, they have concerts on Sundays, and we have one of the best seats! Amongst the wicker we nestle in a table & chairs - perfect for supper & music :)

Beautiful photos. We put a fan on our deck, mosquitos and flies don't like wind and just dissapear.

Those are gorgeous! But I must admit, I'm not a hot-weather girl, and when I say that, I mean, 70 degrees or hotter.

Yeah, I'm a wimp.

You could move in to any one of these spots and I would be blissfully happy. So beautiful & relaxing. I LOVE those patio lights, too!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
