Snow in Charlotte!

This is our backyard. Our little birdhouse hanging in the maple tree with snow piled on it.

The Lantern on the brick wall looks so pretty with snow all on it!

This is the ironwork we have hanging on the back of the outside fireplace. I thought it looked really pretty with the snow all on it.

This is the fountain in my backyard garden. It is still working. The birds love having running water in the winter.

Some more backyard pictures.

I thought I would share some of our snow pictures that I took this morning before I left for my Dr. appt. and work. We haven't had snow in Charlotte since the winter of 2004. By the time I got home from work the snow was almost gone! The eastern part of the state got more than we did.

  2. Pretty snow pics, Sherri. Enjoy knowing it won't stick around long. I look out my window and see 2 feet on the ground and know it will be at least March (and maybe even April) before it's gone! I'm so over it, lol.

  4. The snow looks so pretty - as long as it doesn't last as long as it does at Mary's! I think there was some in the North Georgia mountains but we didn't get more than a few flurries here.

  5. Dudette! What is going on? We have switched weather somehow. Here in Boulder CO area, it's been in the 60's all week! It's to get to 71 today!!!

    The snow looks beautiful!

Btw, while I was catching up I saw that picture of your kitchen and it's beautiful. That alone should sell the house. Good luck!!

  8. Your snow pictures are so pretty! I like the fact that you have a fountain in the bird bath with running water. Hmmmmm, something I should think about.
