Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Last night after dinner John and I walked across the street to the movie theater and saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. John has read all the HP books and we both have seen all the movies. We came to the conclusion that while some parts are entertaining, others are long and drag on and on. Overall we were disappointed in this movie. We wanted to like this movie. Oh well, you can't win them all. Everyone have a great day!

We also went to the harry Potter movie. I haven't read all the books, but my daughter Holly has. We enjoyed the movie, but like my daughter mentioned the books are always better!!....I have to admit though, half the time I am looking at all the amazingly charming decorating ideas!! :)...Harry's school & bedroom & that darling little house of Ron's family!! I want a house just like it!! :)Have agreat day! Your friend, heidi XO

  2. Sorry you were disappointed by the movie, Sherri. My DD(23) said it was so-so. She's read all the books several times and has certain expectations from the movies. She wasn't thrilled but she didn't hate it. Oh well...

How nice that you can walk across the street to the theater!!

  3. I was just so disappointed because DH and I hadn't been to the movies in so long. I really wanted to see Public Enemies, but I knew John really wanted to see HP. I didn't hate the movie and it was entertaining, just not like the other movies. Oh well!

I have yet to see the last one and it's been so long since I've seen the others, we'll have to do a marathon before seeing this one LOL

  6. Sherri I completely agree with your comments on the movie, I felt exactly the same.

The whole young romance aspect of things made me laugh but it wasn't enough to make it a worthwhile movie.

  7. Interesting as we havn't seen it yet and are the same as you guys. Part of what has put me off is the length, getting too old for 2.5hrs in a cinema!
