Home Sick today-accckkkk!

Yesterday I started not feeling very well-I had a headache and a terrible sore throat. I drank lots of fluids and rested most of the afternoon. Well I'm sorry to say I had to go to the Dr. office this a.m. I have a pretty intense sinus infection and left over flu aches and pains. I never realized I had a very mild case of the flu last week! I didn't feel 100%, but just thought it was allergies-nope it was the flu! I'm drinking ginger ale, orange juice, tea and water all day today. I've had chicken noodle soup and toast so far today. Off to take a nap!

Wish I was closer I'd bring some of Don's mother's chicken soup over. It starts with "wring the chickens neck"...Really she says the bones in the chicken stock is the real secret to the medicinal batch. You do take the bones out and "pick" the meat off before your serve it.Feel bette soon.

Oh dear! I'm so sorry, Sherri! I'm getting nervous about the cold and flu season coming up. So far, people over here don't seem to be as sick, but I know it's coming again. Please get lots of rest! My mother believes in sticking ginger into her chicken soup.

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
