New Blog Background

I was getting tired of the old blog background so I decided to pick a background that reflected summer. I always think of cherries when I think of summer. I used to eat cherries by the bowl full when I was growing up. That reminds me I need to stop at the grocery store on the way home and pick up some! Everyone have a great day!

I love the new background, Sherri! It is so summery. Cherries are one of my favorite fruits and I loved them as a child too.

Hope you're enjoying your new home, and happy to hear it takes you less time to get to work. That always helps!

Hi Sherri, I know what you mean. When I updated my background, it inspired me to work more on my blog. I was kinda lagging for a bit.

So maybe a new background is like getting a new dress -- it jazzes us up in our souls.

Your cherry theme is great for this time of year!

I like the new background and your header picture that matches. It looks great Sherri. Glad to hear that the move went well!

I love it! The only thing is I can't see the "ee" in Jubilee. :-)

Kay, I just checked the header it I can see the ee in Jubilee on my computer. Don't know what's up with that on your computer.

Thanks for all the comments on my new background and header. I think I just needed a change. I'm think of changing the name too because my blog really isn't just about reading.

Hi Sherri, I can see the ee too. I like your changes. I'm thinking abut a summer header for my blog. Those cherries make me think of pie and ice cream and red checked table clothes on picnic tables;)

Hey Sherri, 'life is just a bowl of cherries!':<)

Very cool, Cheryl! I'm experimenting with blogspot and can't figure out how to change the background, etc. I'm actually fooling around with it so I can help Bernie start a blog! He doesn't get computers at all. I just sit and noodle with everything until it works! I've got nothing to lose. Please let me know how to change the background...Thanks!

Ring of Kerry, Ireland
My husband, John and I went to Ireland for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2004. We had an awesome trip and we will never forget it. We actually got to visit our friends who live in Northern Ireland. We spent 3 wonderful days with them! The picture above was taken when we visited The Ring of Kerry. The beauty of Ireland is just spectacular! If you ever get a chance visit there.
Megan is my oldest daughter. She and Ken were married on April 12, 2008. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception!
Jenny and Kevin at their wedding 8/30/08. The wedding was at our home and turned out wonderful! Everyone had such a good time!
