Picture of a Lake in NJ where I used to live

I just thought I would share a picture my son-in-law took when we were at the wedding in NJ in June. This lake was about 15 mins. from my house. The wedding took place on an island called Vesper Island at a 4-H camp. My girls and the bride were campers there every summer. It is so beautiful there! Alot of people don't even know that these beautiful places exist in NJ. Northwestern NJ, where I lived had some really amazing and beautiful places. Enjoy!

  2. Oh, Sherri, that photo makes me want to breathe deeply and sigh. I remember reading about these camps in NJ in Country Living Magazine long ago. So full of wonder.~~Dee

  3. That looks like such a pretty place. I always associated Northern NJ with heavy traffic and oil refineries. I didn't realize there were such pretty places there.

  4. Lynne, alot of people only associate NJ with oil refineries, Newark International Airport, Jersey City, wise guys, etc. I lived in Northwestern NJ all my life until I moved to Charlotte 4 yrs. ago. I love Charlotte now though, the winters in NJ were just too cold and gray!!
